This Intermediate Jewelry Series will focus on five (5) different cabochon gemstone setting techniques, as well as two (2) simple faceted gemstone settings. The full Series includes classes on: Turtle Prongs, Basic Bezels, Bezels for Odd Shaped Stones, Pedestal Prongs, Tube Set Gemstones, and Open Studio Time. Students will leave each class in the series with a finished sample. Educator: Leah Meleski. Prerequisites: Open to adults 18 years and older who have Intermediate Jewelry Metalsmithing skill level – who have taken the Beginning Jewelry courses and/or are proficient with soldering, sawing, drilling, polishing, rolling mill / roller printing, etc.
Students can purchase and commit to the full series, OR purchase only the individual classes they desire. The full series includes these individual classes:

Class 2: Basic Bezels
Class 3: Bezels for Odd Shaped Stones
Class 4: Pedestal Prongs
Class 5: Tube Set Gemstones
Class 6: Open Studio Time
6 Sundays – June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, July 7, 2019, 3pm to 7pm.
Class series fee: $310.00 plus $5 to $15 per class material fee.
