The Bellingham Community Chorus begins its 28th season Saturday, Dec. 15, with new artistic director Rob Viens. The concert includes traditional favorites with some interesting new rhythms and perspectives, such as Calypso Noel and African noel, as well as audience sing-along numbers, such as Jingle Bells Through the Ages.

A brass quartet will join in the fun, as well as pipe organ and a variety of percussion instruments and soloists. Mark Hayes’s One World caps off the spirit of the holidays.

Concert times are 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at St. James Church, 910 14th St.

Tickets through Brown Bag Tickets or at the door, $10 per person; ages 12 and under, free.
Reception follows each concert.
