Want to learn how to peacefully co-exist with our wild neighbors through understanding and respect? Join the Whatcom Humane Society for an informative series of talks about wildlife native to Whatcom County and learn how the WHS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center cares for orphaned
and injured wildlife in our community.
Presented by Alysha Evans, WHS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center Manager
and Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator.

Tuesday, Feb 20th- Birds of Prey: Learn about nature’s most regal birds-
eagles, owls, hawks, and the habitat they call home.

Tuesday, March 27th- Backyard Birding: Learn how to responsibly attract, humanely feed,
and protect backyard birds and the effect feeding birds can have on other animal
species, domestic and wild.

Tuesday, April 24th- Oh Deer!: What to know about the deer population in our community and how to humanely co-exist with wild mammals such as deer, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, and more.

Tuesday, May 22nd- Marine Mammals and Waterfowl: Which mammals and waterfowl call
Whatcom County waters home and how you can help them survive and thrive.
