Discover a fun method of jewelry making in this easy beginning PMC (precious metal clay) class. Learn how to shape, texture, dry, sand, and finish a pendant or a pair of earrings (or both) in just one day! You will make two items, one which will be torch fired and the other will be fired in the kiln. Finish your pieces by tumbling with steel shot and learn how to use the magnetic pin polisher. The finished product is .999 silver – aka. Fine Silver. You will have the option of using patina to enhance the texture of your finished piece. Instructor: Vickie Roberts. Course fee: $80 plus $40 material/kit fee. Material/kit fees are payable in cash to the instructor on the first day of class.
