Whatcom Chorale, led by Deborah L. Brown, Artistic Director and Conductor, offers a delightfully diverse concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at First Congregational Church of Bellingham (2401 Cornwall Ave.) The program includes “Frostiana,” Randall Thompson’s evocative settings of Robert Frost poems; selections from Franz Joseph Haydn’s oratorio “Die Jahreszeiten [The Seasons],” featuring local tenor Aaron McInnis; Pietro Mascagni’s “Anthem for Spring” from “Cavalleria Rusticana”; and local composer Henry From’s setting of Orazguly Annaev’s poem “Self-Portrait.”
