You don’t have to be an artist participating in the Paint the Peninsula Plein Air Competition to enjoy the art! As you explore the Olympic Peninsula hiking, biking or sightseeing, you’ll find artists painting around the Peninsula during the competition. The juried art competition invites over 20 artists to compete for $12,000 in cash awards and wraps up the event with a painting workshop led by an accomplished artist.

For the wine lovers in the bunch, the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center commemorates the event with bottles of Camaraderie Cellars‘ wine featuring the winning artist’s masterpiece on the label — collect or drink them all! All proceeds from purchasing wine support the arts and the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center. Be sure to take a walk through the five-acre wooded outdoor gallery at the Webster’s Woods Art Park open every day from dawn to dusk while you’re here. For more information go to the link below.
