In this First Class of a series of 4 Independent Intensive Intermediate Jewelry Metalsmithing, you will strengthen and develop your jewelry metalsmithing skills focusing on making a spinner ring and a figure 8 solitaire ring. You will learn how to use a rolling mill, do texturing, forging, learn new soldering techniques and understand sizing rings for a proper fit. You will learn how to add and incorporate tube bezels to your project. You will work mainly with silver flat stock and wire and some copper. Instructor: Marie-Claire Dole.
Course fee: $215.00 plus $50 materials fee.
Material/kit fees are payable in cash to the instructor on the first day of class.
Deadline to register: April 14th at 12pm.
Class size will be limited to a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 participants.
Prerequisites: Open to adults, 18 years +, Intensive Beginning Jewelry I & II, or instructor permission.
