BELLINGHAM BURLESQUE OF 1927 is a bawdy, cabaret-style musical that takes the wraps off of a travelling Burlesque troupe stopping in prohibition-era Bellingham. Low comedy and high friction on stage end in a “revealing” act of desperation. Martha Benedict, Martin Bray, Akilah Williams, Amanda Carpp and the “Top Banana”, Paul Henderson, bare all through songs, dances and vintage slapstick. Performances are October 5-7, 7:30pm, and October 7, 3pm, at the Firehouse Performing Arts Center, 1314 Harris Avenue, Bellingham, WA, 98225. Tickets are $20.
